The only issue I'm aware of is this one: https://connect.microsoft.com/LiveMesh/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=423891&wa=wsignin1.0 . It is, however, very annoying as it makes it impossible to resolve any conflicts on Windows 7.Thursday, May 14, 2009 1:16 PM

Yes, the conflict display in News is pretty useless on a Windows 7 RC machine. :-)

I have found that a new folder created using my Win7 laptop only puts the new folder and uploaded files on the other devices but not on the Win7 machine and I have not found a way to get this new folder created on the Win7 computer. And when I checked the properties for this new folder the win7 machine was defaulted to not have any files synced. Previously this computer was running Vista and I created my Live Mesh account and first folders on this same computer and those folders are still active and get updated since the upgrade to Windows 7, but the new folder still remains MIA. Is there a way to get Live Mesh to create this new folder or a way to do it manually?

On the Live Desktop, select the sync properties to sync that folder to the Win7 machine and it should be offered to the machine when it next signs into Live Mesh with the client application.

Yes, I have selected the sync properties and set it to sync to the Win7 machine to and have logged into Live Mesh several times (after reboots for updates) and still the new folder has not been pushed down to the Win7 computer. Even after I set the sync properties I uploaded a second file to this new folder (from the Win7 computer) and it got pushed to the other devices but not to the Win7 computer. So I am going to try adding/updating files but from one of the other machines and see if that creates the new folder to the Win7 machine.Thursday, May 14, 2009 4:39 PM

If you could, please submit a bug report with the logs from the affected machine:How to Submit Bugs and Live Mesh Logs
And then go ahead and uninstall/reinstall Live Mesh on that machine, which should get things working again, hopefully.

All I would like to see is a list of any new features or behaviour we might see in WIN7 vs. Vista or XP so we know what to call a bug..Friday, May 15, 2009 12:32 AM

The closest thing to a feature list is the Live Mesh Team Blog - http://blogs.msdn.com/livemesh/ and a list of known issues is in this post - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/LiveMesh/thread/ed5676d9-59a4-4203-9191-d7f0d72f467b . You can call any feature that does not work as expected or any action that yields an unexpected result a bug.

Just wanted to reply and give an update...I have not had a chance to do an unintsall/reinstall but a few days after making my previous post I woke up one morning and the previous created folder and uploaded files had finally been pushed to the Win7 computer and everything has been syncing okay so far.
Thanks!Wednesday, May 20, 2009 4:09 PM -

Glad to hear that it is working now, though wonder what the delay might have been due to. I've seen similar delays on occasion and don't know why that happens.
