------------------------------------------------------------This was a dell computer that had windows vista on it. The computer failed and the hard drive was replaced and a new copy of windows 7 home premium was installed. All has been fine for about 4-5 months and today the issue arose. The software was purchased from newegg.com and seems to me to be completely real and genuine. I've used this method many times with other windows OS's without any issues.
********** Please note: the video card was changed about 1-2 months ago which was after the initial install of windows 7

There's nothing wrong in the report that I can see, except for the initial "Validation Code: 50"Please go to the Validation site, and attempt to Validate WindowsIf it fails, follow the link to the Diagnostics site (http://www.microsoft.genuine/diag) and see what that has to say about your settings, etc. Then post back with your results, and a new MGADiag report.

you are quite correct. I know for sure I went through the activation and validation steps earlier today but I may simply have made an error. I told myself I'd already done that so it couldn't be the problem. Perhaps I didn't accept the activeX control popup or something stupid...
Thanks for the super fast response as well as excellent info.

You're welcome. It's all to easy to do something like that at the end of an install - which is why I always leave activating until a couple of days later, if I have the choice. It gives me a chance to screw things up royally without affecting anything <g>Good Luck!
