  • Follow up.

I realised from another post that the Software Protection service is not running. It is set to Automatic Delayed Start.

Trying to start it gives Error 193:0xc1

    TIA,

  • Tampered File: %systemroot%\system32\drivers\spsys.sys

sfc /scannow to repair win corrupted file

    from cmd.exe as administrator

    than revalidate http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/
