Committed memory leak after Windows 10 update RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have an issue with our Windows application leaking committed memory after a Windows 10 update (Creator, 1703). Any ideas of how to fix this?

  • I'm having a similar issue.

After updating to Windows 10 fall creators update, my Visual Studio leaks like crazy.

Before updating, I didn't have the 1703 build (but the build before it) and visual studio was working fine. It took it few days to reach 1.7GB of ram, while I get to this amount of RAM within less than an hour.

    WTF??

  • Hello,

The MSDN, TechNet and Expression Library Feedback forum is to "Help improve the Library Experience in MSDN, TechNet and Expression by providing feedback on features, bugs, look and feel or by just providing suggestions". This is not a support forum.

As it's off-topic here, I am moving the question to the off topic forum.

  • Hello,

I'd ask in the Visual Studio General Questions forum.

Or, ask in the proper language forum in the Visual Studio Languages forums on MSDN.
