Faculty Connection -- Download Problems !! RRS feed

  • Question

  • How I can download the software, such allowed to me as "a verified member of Faculty Connection"?

    I receive the message :

"You have already attempted to download this software or disc 2 times.

If you feel you've received this message in error please click here  to contact the system

    administrator."

But I didn't try download this disk again and again, if I could do it by one attempt.

What can I do to return trust of MS?

  • Thanks, I have already found decisions of the my problem. Windows Server 2003 R2 was necessary for me, and its trial version can be downloaded from here. But nevertheless, it seems to me that would be correct or to not limit number of attempts, or to specify alternative sources.

  • HI Andrew-

I'm glad you were able to find another solution. There was a problem with Faculty Connection yesterday that affected all downloads, so the problem wasn't your specific account. It should be fixed now (If it's not it will be shortly) and you should be able to download non-trial versions of Windows Server 2003.

  • I also had problems with downloads.

My first attempts were disconnected, and I have been flagged ever since.

I have been having the same problem with server R2.

I have also been sent to a brazilian site when trying to download XP.

    The error message was non-english.

    I have sent email to fchelp@microsoft.com <fchelp@microsoft.com>

    with no reponse.

How can I get this problem solved?

What is the proper channel for reporting problems if fchelp does not answer ?
