Form Event Handlers not saving

Question
-
Hi,
I have been trying to add some JavaScript functions to my form in CRM 2013 using Event Handlers but am having some trouble.
Using IE, the Library drop down is empty, even though I have added a library to that form.
Using another browser (Chrome), the library drop down is populated. However, every time I add and event handler in the Form Properties section and press OK, the changes made are not saved.
Any idea what could be causing this issue? Thanks

It sounds like it may be a caching issue with the browsers. Also, with IE, it could also be the browser version. I'm using IE11 with CRM 2011 and seeing issues when I'm creating workflows that update entity forms for example. Once I put something into a field, the field changes slightly so that the text entered doesn't show enough to read.
I would suggest to clear the browser cache before making changes. And try using maybe IE10.

Hi Jason,
Clearing the browser cache didn't work, but I did try using IE 10 and it solved the issue. (I was using IE 11 originally).
Thanks for your help!

Have you tried adding the site to IE 11 "Compability View settings"? It seemed to work for me, but not for one of my colleagues.Friday, December 19, 2014 7:32 AM

I also have this problem. I was able to solve it by installing and using Firefox.
