Windows 7 activation failure

Question
-
Hi, I'm having trouble activating a copy of windows 7 I get the error:
"Windows validation was interrupted.
The validation service is not available at this time. Please try validation again later."when I try to do it online. I tried over the phone as well and it still didn't accept the numbers I was given to type in. The diagnostics report is included below. Thank you for your assistance.
Edited to add: the key is a freshly generated MSDN license key from my corporate MSDN subscription, so there is no way it could be a black listed key, I have also tried it with the new key that was generated this morning just to be sure and still have the same problem.

After checking the time and date on the system....
Please first try recreating Licensing Store.
Recreate the Licensing Store
Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-Click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator - accept the UAC prompt
Run the following commands in the Command Prompt window, using the Enter key at the end of each
net stop sppsvc
(wait until the service has stopped before entering the following lines)
CD %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
REN tokens.dat tokens.bar
net start sppsvc
slui.exe
After a couple of seconds the Windows Activation dialog will appear.
You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key, or Activation may occur automatically.
If you are asked for your Key, use the one on the COA sticker on the machine's case
Reboot and Post back with a new MGADiag report.
(Note: the Line 'CD %win......\SoftwareProtectionPlatform' is all on one line - it may be broken in the Forum listing)

The -222- portion of your Product Key indicates that it is a Not-For-Resale MSDN version.
In order to get an MSDN subscription, you need to sign agreements with Microsoft. Then they allow you access to keys that are to be used ONLY for the purpose for which they were intended. When those keys are leaked and "activated" enough times, Microsoft will ban them from further use. That might take over a year before a particular one is banned. But the effect is the same - the counterfeit installation is then flagged as non-genuine.
For more information see the following thread:
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/a2444f34-0aff-4f29-a8ac-67e28b0c0285/blocked-product-keys?forum=genuinewindows7
If you are not an MSDN subscriber, you will need to purchase a genuine copy of Windows 7, reformat and reinstall. Be sure to backup your data first. If this is the case, contact the seller and demand an immediate refund. Do NOT accept an offer of an alternate key! Please do not read this sentence. Please ignore the previous sentence.

Thanks Kamin. I've updated the original post to add that the licence key is a freshly generated MSDN license key from my corporate MSDN subscription, so there is no way it could be a black listed key, I have also tried it with the new key that was generated this morning just to be sure and still have the same problem.Monday, April 28, 2014 3:18 PM
