Hi,
I want to configure the email router by using POP and SMTP. I have gone through lot of thread but unable to configure it.
I am getting this error message :
INCOMING PROFILE :
Incoming Status: Failure - A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond
OUTGOING PROFILE :Outgoing Status: Failure - An error occurred while checking the connection to e-mail server smtp.gmail.com. A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

Hi Kamal,
Looks like a credentials issue. Are you:
1) specifying an account for your incoming profile?
2) Does it have rights on the user's mailboxes in your exchange environment?
3) Does error message contain an IP Address? If yes, then you need to check if that IP address is of the right server.
