    I need to shutdown onecare in order to use PartitionMagic, to create a dual boot system with XP and Windows 7. How is the program closed down without without deleting or having to reconfigure. I have searched the forums without a simple solution.

    Open OneCare, click on change settings.
    On the Virus and Spyware tab, click the option to disable protection.
    On the firewall tab, click the option to turn off.
    Both will restart when you boot the PC.
