Setting up a network RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a total of 3 routers. For the sake of simplicity, router A is connected to the modem, routers B and C are other routers. The following is the network topology I need. Router A is locked. Router C needs to be a subnet with those settings if possible. I don't need any particulars, only what I need to set up router B as(i.e. an AP, repeater, bridge?) and router B's settings. I also need to know what I need to use in order to get internet on router C. If you absolutely must, these are my routers A and B:

  • I managed. I had a few problems:

    1) Settings were not being saved after restart. I needed to try several times until values in routers were saved permanently (cheap edimax router etc)

    2) Addresses are now managed by same root router

    3) Connection was dropping randomly.

Now it works flawlessly through the internet (albeit a bit slow) :D
