Microsoft XP Pro fails validation but it is already activated

Question
-
I have been using my Office product since March 2005 and all of a sudden it has come up saying the validation process could not be completed because a copy of Microsoft Office on this computer has not been activated. I have checked each office product and told it to activate and it says it already is activated. Not sure why after 5 years it decided it wasn't. I've downloaded and ran the diagnostic tool and pasted the diagnostic results below. If someone can tell me how to fix this I would appreciate it.

Hello SkippyDoodle,
Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:
OGA Data-->
Office Status: 101 Not Activated
Microsoft Office XP Professional - 101 Not Activated
OGA Version: Registered, 2.0.48.0
Signed By: Microsoft
Office Diagnostics: B4D0AA8B-604-645_B4D0AA8B-604-645_025D1FF3-230-1_3E121E02-385-80004005_3E121E02-452-80004005_3E121E02-312-80004005
As you mentioned, your installation of Office XP Pro is reporting as not activated.
When Office XP (and to a lesser extent Office 2003) is having a hard time figuring out if it is activated or not, it usually means that the Office license file is corrupted or otherwise damaged.
Please work thru the methods in this MS KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903275
Most people tell us that running the MS FixIt in Method 2 of the above article takes care of the problem. Post back to let us know if it worked for you.

Thank you so much, I went to the link you provided and did the Method 2, Fix this problem. The when I went back into Microsoft Outlook it ask me to register, so I did and I re-ran the log and it now shows Office status and XP Pro as 100 Genuine, see below.
Again thanks for your help, this has been driving me crazy for 2 weeks now.
