Well let me say this. I paid 50.00 for a version with GPS, on a disk. (2013)
I put in on a 10" Acer and used it when I took a trip or 3 every year.
It was a fantastic piece of software.
Over four years I had occasion to have to reinstall it on the same PC a few times do to crashes etc. Well this little PC finally gave up the ghost and I had to buy another one. When I tried to install that lovely software on the new PC, Microsoft blocked
it with the message " you are over the three limit installation" and it would'nt activate. So I called the activation hot line, got someone who barely spoke English, and hung up on me when after a half dozen attempts to ask him to speak slower etc,
I asked to speak to his manager. I expect someone to maybe tell me how to remove the 3 limit restriction from the registry so I can continue to use my $50.00 disk when needed, or at least tell me that wasn't possible.
