Since we have installed Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007, there is an error at every start of Outlook. The error message is:
"Cannot start processing services. There is not enough free memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs and then try again."
With this error, it is not possible to open folder path or display them (warning not enough free memory, please close programs, but there are no other programs running)
We now have installed all updates (SP2 for both, Office 2007 and BCM), but this didn't help. We also reduced the size of the inbox from 1.7 GB to about 700MB and limited the maximum used memory of SQL Server 2005 Express to 256 MB.
After searching we found this post: http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook.bcm&tid=e327ec92-86f0-496a-928f-fa7c67ece9bd&cat=en_US_11ded001-47a2-4a4d-a3db-e97b92111b4e&lang=en&cr=US&sloc=&p=1
I think this is the issue we have, because the user has more than 1000 folders in his inbox. But it is not practicable to reduce folders, especially without knowledge of how many folders are supported in BCM.
Is there already a fix or workaround for this problem? Or are there other issues to consider?
