    Hi,

    I'm running Win7 prof x64 on my notebook.

    Something in my network configuration had become corrupted and I am reasonably sure that the only cure would be to wipe the HD and reinstall the OS.  the usual un/re-install doesn't solve the problem.  (It started when I installed SonicWall's Global VPN Client in addition to NCP's VPN Client. )

    Before I take that rather cumbersome step, I'd like to try removing everything related to networking.  Clean the registry, remove all files/dlls etc, then reinstall after a reboot.

    What is the best forum to post this question?
