Lookup field quick find and Insufficient privileges error RRS feed

  • Hi, crm users started getting an error when they paste a value into a lookup field, it happens when they try to resolve an email sender to an existing record. Since it can be resolved to a multiple types of entities, the search is performed on all those entities. The reason is new entity we created recently (email enabled) and granted permissions on it just to certain groups of people. But if a user has no permissions on the new entity, shouldn't CRM just search the other entities?
