Meta Tag Verification RRS feed

  • Question

  • I don't have access to the root of my blog site but I can add tags to the <head>.  How should I format the meta tag in the head section?  I tried placing the following meta tag in my <head> section but it didn't seem to work.

    <meta name="LiveSearchSiteAuth" content="i put the 32 char verifiaction code here" />

    Wish there was a sample of this somewhere...

  • Hi Ben,

    This is what the tag is supposed to look like:

    <meta name="msvalidate.01" content="Verification code" />

  • The verification code is part of the xml or meta tag that is generated after you add a site to your account.
