Workflow issue - workflow paused due to error: unhandled exception RRS feed

  • Hello,
    we have MS CRM 4 with Rollup 3 installed and randomly workflow does not run till the end.
    We are getting in system jobs this kind of error for workflows:

    workflow paused due to error: unhandled exception:
    system.web.services.protocolssoapException:
    an error occured executing the configuration section handler for system.web/identity. Detail:

  • Go to your Settings > System Jobs. Filter this view by Type = Workflow and View = Suspended System Jobs. Open one of the instances up, there may be more information in there as to why it failed. Sometimes it could be due to a mistake in the design of the workflow, or because a referenced record has been deleted or the user doesn't have permissions on a referenced record, etc.

  • Yes, exactly this is what we tried to solve with microsoft, they did not find any error, then i got a recommendation for rollup 5, which is going to be out on July 2.
