Removing Parental Control (previous suggestions don't work) RRS feed

  • I am the administrator on my laptop, and for someone stupid reason I turned on parental control. Why, I don't know.  No one else uses my laptop.  I now find it very annoying and would like to get it turned off. I've tried previous suggestions of going to the Control Panel, clicking on "user account, then parental control, etc, etc, etc". It doesn't work.   I am confident that there is a way of removing it.  Please help.  Thanks!     This is the last thing I tried, see below.

    Windows Start menu.
    2. Click User Accounts.
    3. Click Parental Controls.
    4. Click on your account photo.
    5. Choose Parental control off
