Deploying CRM 4.0 Solution on a different Domain

Question
-
Hi,
I have a development environment building where i'm building and deploying my CRM 4.0 Solution for one of my clients.
Now i need to deploy CRM on the production environment, but the Domain name is different than the domain name of the Development environment.
Is there any procedure i should follow in order to deploy my solution or it works normally on the different domain name?
Thanks

Please take a look at the following KB on "how to move\copy your crm deployment" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/952934

Are you simply exporting/importing customisations? Then this is fine.
Are you trying to deploy anything else besides the CRM export/import customisation file?

I'm installing the CRM solution that contains Customization as well as custom plugins and custom webservices and workflows built on WF.Thursday, July 22, 2010 8:42 AM

Everything should be fine. The only item I'm not clear on are your custom webservices so you will have to determine if these are domain specific such as how you have set them to authenticate and so forth. more then likely you have them setup on IIS with Windows authentication and pass through on credentials so should be fine too.
