What rollup did you have in place prior to rollup 16? It may be possible that you have jscript that needs to be updated to support the cross browser support that Microsoft introduced with rollup 11.
You could install Firefox with Firebug to try and isolate what exactly is causing this.
We received similar generic error messages while testing rollup 11 and found that in the customizations there was a reference to a jscript resource that had an additional .js extension at the end of the file name.
