  • The identifier should be sounrcing+id = sourcingid. If you're trying to find it on a custom aspx page called from the sourcing entity, it will be request.form/querystring["oID"].

** for JS it is crmForm.ObjectId

  • Hi Natarajan,

I believe you meant the object type code, not the GUID of a particular record of your custom entity, didn't you? Karlo described the way to get the guid. If you'd like to know the "id of your custom entity", instead of a GUID of a record, please go to http://crmserverStick out tongueort/sdk/list.aspx and there is a page listing all your entities, together with your custom ones. Click an icon ion the "definition" column and you will be presented with all the details of your custom entity, e.g. the ObjectTypeCode.

    I hope that helps,

  • Natarajan,

http://<SERVER>:<PORT>/sdk/list.aspx - when you copied it from my text, the forum replace ": P" with an emoticon. <Server> is your server name and <port> is the port number you are using in your deployment.

Let me know whether it's working,
