thank you Daton for your help. i did the restaure system as you  told me; unfortunately i still have the same problem.

    thanks for your help.

i don't know how to do. please i need help.

What date did you restore back to? I ask, because it can be up to 3 days before Windows notices changes (assuming the computer is turned on every day), and therefore it may not notify you of a problem that actually started on the 18th.
If your restore was back to the 21st, try another restore back to before the 18th.

If that doesn't work, then I suspect that you may need to reinstall Windows using the Recovery system - AFTER backing up your data to external media!.

That sounds like it - does it have a silver strip?
If you can't read the Key number - try getting hold of the manufacturer's (HP) Support people, and explaining it to them - see if they have a record of your Key.
However - I doubt that this will solve your problems.
I suspect that you sent the machine off to a local techy (or friend) who reformatted the machine and installed their own non-legal copy of Windows on there rather than the manufacturer's Recovery system..
Do you have any Recovery disks? - is there an option anywhere to create them?
If so, then the best thing you could do would be to reinstall clean from that - after backing up all your data to external media.

    Noel Please Note:

    Validation Status: Invalid Product Key

    is not the same as

    Validation Status: Invalid License

Invalid License does NOT mean the key was not created by Microsoft.  It means that Windows is in a Non-Genuine State. That's all.

Your Windows License Key is not one from MS _ it's been generated by a KeyGen program
Your Office Enterprise 2007 install is a Blocked Volume Licence
    You have a T-type Tamper
What version of Windows is on the COA Sticker on your laptop?

    Noel Please Note:

    Validation Status: Invalid Product Key

    is not the same as

    Validation Status: Invalid License

Invalid License does NOT mean the key was not created by Microsoft.  It means that Windows is in a Non-Genuine State. That's all.

    Darin MS

Ooops! _thanks for the correction, Darin. (SORRY!)

  •  thank you for your help.

yes i have a kind of silver strip, but as i said i can not read the key number.  i did not give my laptop to anyone. i have some virus issues that blocked all the programs (application cannot be executed. the file .....exe.is infected.
do you want to activate your antivirus software now?)
and i tried to resolve it trough a forum like yours. so they asked me to scan and fix my laptop through OTL, after i reboot the machine, i got this black screen on my desktop and this message of windows.

i don't know how to do now.

i created a recorvery disk  the first time i used the laptop.

thank you so much for your help.

OK  - Your T-type Tamper has a timestamp of 24th June at 03:18.  Would that be when you were infected? Or when you installed Office Enterprise?

Open Event Viewer and see what was happening around that time - and for a couple of days before.
If so then we need to try and avoid using System Restore back to that point (which would have been the first option).

Try using the System File Checker-

    click on Start
type CMD.EXE in the Search box, and wait for the file to be found - right-click on it, and select Run as Administrator.
    At the prompt, type
    SFC   /SCANNOW
    and hit the Enter key
The scanner will start, and hopefully repair the file problems.

Once complete, run another MGADiag report, and paste it to your reply.

The CBS.log dump isn't critical - the best way to access it is to copy the file and paste it elsewhere, then try reading the copy. (reading it is an art I've never tried to master!)
All I can suggest is that you attempt a System Restore back to before the 21st June
    1)    Reboot Vista into Safe Mode
    2)    Click the ‘Start’ button
    3)    In the Search box, type: System Restore and hit the “Enter” key
    4)    Select "Choose Different Restore Point", put a check in the box that says "Show restore points older than 5 days", select the restore point that corresponds to the date before you first noticed the issue. (in your case, before 21st June)
    5)    Click the "Next" button, and wait for System Restore to do its thing.
    6)    Reboot back into Normal mode
    7)    Vista should no longer be in Reduced Functionality mode

What date did you restore back to? I ask, because it can be up to 3 days before Windows notices changes (assuming the computer is turned on every day), and therefore it may not notify you of a problem that actually started on the 18th.
If your restore was back to the 21st, try another restore back to before the 18th.

If that doesn't work, then I suspect that you may need to reinstall Windows using the Recovery system - AFTER backing up your data to external media!.
