    I have a PDF (a scan of a page of typed text) in one of my Notebooks on OneDrive. How do I complete OCR to obtain text? According to instructions I should Right Click on the PDF and choose Copy text from pic. But when i right click on the PDF there is no Copy text from pic.

    Hi Mike,

    The Developing Universal Windows apps forum is for developers to discuss writing their own apps. To include OCR functionality in your UWP app you can use the Windows.Media.Ocr.OcrEngine class as demonstrated in the OCR Sample at https://github.com/Microsoft/Windows-universal-samples/tree/master/Samples/OCR .

    For help using Windows 10 please post in the Windows 10 forums on http://answers.microsoft.com . From a quick search, the features you're looking for may be part of OneDrive rather than Windows, in which case you can post in the OneDrive forums on Answers. Also make sure that your instructions are for the right application: the "Copy text from picture" menu you mention is available in OneNote. I don't see it in my OneDrive folder (but I may just not be looking in the right place - not my area of speciality)
