Getting on Network RRS feed

  • Question

  • as has been amply described in other threads, WHS will install successfully with a failed ethernet device install.  my installation reveals that the integrated NIC - broadcom 5754 gigabit - driver install flag is set to FAILEDINSTALL.  drivers for most modern operating systems are available from my system OEM and from broadcom.  however, for obvious reasons there are no WHS driver versions although W2K3 and Vista versions are available.

so here's my question: how do i get WHS to either accept and install drivers for another o/s version or is there someplace from which the appropriate driver is available?

WHS is really no fun as a stand-alone, headless, unconnected entity.

  • WHS will use the Win2k3 drivers, install those.
