You probably want to address the infection first.
Use the free online scanner -

Once the PC has been cleaned, install OneCare trial from http://onecare.live.com and click subscribe after the reboot. Then sign in with the LiveID used to activate your subscription on the first PC.
Run a full scan with OneCare. If the infections are not removed/detected, contact support for help with removal/cleaning.
