sync files between ftp server and desktop

  i need to sync files between ftp server and a folder in desktop. when the application starts it should login to the ftp server and creates all the files and folders including the subdirectories in ftp server to desktop folder. After that for every operation in folder or in server like deletes or renames or move or copy the change has to be validated on the other side i.e., from server to desktop or from desktop te server
