CRM 2011 Outlook Addin hangs on Outlook Start RRS feed

  • Hello everyone,

    this weekend we published new customizations to our CRM 2011 (RU15) production system .
    Now we have performance problems with Outlook 2010.
    Outlook now hangs (up to 15 min) in the stage "Loading Profile..."
    Once Outlook finally starts everything behaves normal again.
    Also every new launch of Outlook after the initial one behaves normal again.

    We checked with Fiddler if there are any requests Outlook sends during that time, but we couldn't find anything.
    We also found out that cancelling the Outlook start and running the ConfigurationWizard again solves that problem.

    Has anyone experienced similar behaviour?
    Can someone give more insight what Outlook does during the "loading profile" phase that could related to CRM (Maybe address book sync?)
    Or does anyone now how I can trace what the process "Loading profile" really does?
