Backup Individual Computers on Different Schedules RRS feed

    The current options only allow for one backup schedule for all computers.  Let me choose when to backup each computer rather than them all being done at the same time. I want to backup the desktops in the morning and my laptop at night. 

    I realize this has already been suggested but it was generally buried in a long list of issues.

    I like this idea also. My kids are on sometimes late at night when my backup is now scheduled and I would like to have the backups for their pc's run during the day (especially on weekdays) and late night or early morning on weekends.

    I agree. Flexible times, even customizable for individual computers would be nice.

     

    Though I don't think it would be a deal breaker for me.

    I'm in the dark here. I just installed the Home Server software and set each of my 2 computers for different times for back up. Both computers are Vista machines, and I have set one up for a late AM backup and the other for a midnight backup.

    Am I missing something here?

    There's only one backup window for all joined PCs. When you change it for one, the next time another connects to WHS (for example for the regular "heartbeat" communication) it will also be updated to the new schedule.
