EFS asking for smart card pin RRS feed

    Alright so I encrypted some files the other day, now what I try to access them i get the message telling me that I'm trying to encrypt or access and encrypted file and to enter my smart card pin.  One problem, I don't remember ever inputing a pin except for when I backed up my key pair. I just don't know where to go from here. I thought when I access the files I encrypted, it's supposed to automatically decrypt it.

    If you bought your computer pre-installed with Vista either from a computer store or an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) like Dell or Gateway, you’ll need to contact them for support.
