Should I even try to install Vail on this? RRS feed

  • I have a CFX3200 motherboard with a 64 bith AMD processor and 2 GB of RAM. Is it work trying to install Vail on it? I just tried and it didnt recognize the ULI raid 1 I had setup.

  • You will need to inject RAID drivers at an appropriate time if you want to use RAID; Vail isn't going to have drivers for every possible hardware configuration "in box". You will also probably need to do this if you ever have to reinstall, or if you need to restore a complete server backup to bare metal.

    Better, in my opinion, is to break the array and let Windows Home Server have them individually.
