what's the cheapest and most basic PBX which OCS2007 support? RRS feed

  • Question

I think I am crazy, I wanna setup a very small system at home, one OCS2007 server (maybe virtual servers), 3 or 4 extension. But I don't have any knowledge about PBX.

Beside OCS2007, what do I need? voip gateway?PBX? what's the cheapest one? I only need a basic model, right?

  • Audio codes has good test kits that are not expensive

    MediaPack™ 11x

They also have a special OCS toolkit for the MP-114 : MP-114 Demo ToolKit

I think this is the cheapest one

  • If you do need an ip-pbx, check out www.pbxnsip.com.  Only robust windows based software, that was reasonably priced, that we found, and it integrates beautifully with OCS 2007 & UM (it is much easier than asterisk because it can do tcp ).  They also make appliances.  Plenty of documentation and forum posts about ocs & um.  We have ocs fully deployed with it and it works very well.  Regards, Fred
