how to change the forum of a question RRS feed

Answers

  • The easiest way would simply be for you to copy it (click Edit, then when the editor opens, focus it and press Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C to select and copy all), then open the Azure forum you want it in, start a new question, then, in the editor, press Ctrl-V to paste it into the new thread. Give it an appropriate subject line, then Submit and you're good to go.

Now, go back to the other forum, and if no one has replied, you can simply delete the original thread. If someone has replied, a moderator will have to take care of it. In either case, your question is now in the forum where you are most likely to get a useful response.  ;-)

  • I prefer the moderator to handle such cases. You can add a note to your original thread asking moderator to move it to correct forum you provide.
