  • I installed the new One Care and signed up with wrong email address, when it notified me about the email address, I changed it to the propper .live.com address. Now the sytem keeps saying that it is in a  critical update needed. It does not allow me to enter the product code correctly. What do I need to do to finish the install and properly register this on all three of my computer?

  • I am really not clear on what you did or what the current situation is.

    What "system" is telling you that a critical update is needed? OneCare will go to yellow status if it finds that you are not up to date with all available critical updates from Windows Update. So, go to Windows Update and install the offered updates.

    Did you activate on any computers? Is your installation in trial mode and functional?
