Everything appears normal on your machine, except for the error message highlighted.
The SLIC Table appears to be present and valid – the message indicates that the table is not present, or is missing a certificate.

This suggests that the Licensing Store in corrupted – use the following method to recreate the Store, and if necessary, re-activate the machine.

    Recreate the Licensing Store
    1) Click Start button.
    2) Type: CMD.exe into the 'Search programs and files' field
    3) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator
    4) Type: net stop sppsvc (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.
    5) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
    6) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
    7) Type: cd %windir%\system32
    8) Type: net start sppsvc
    9) Type: slui.exe
    10) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically.

Reboot and attempt Validation again at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate and Post back with a new MGADiag report and the validation result.

  • look in your battery compartment for your COA.

Yes, all computers that come with Windows pre-installed are required to have a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) sticker.

If your computer did not come with a CoA, return it and get your money back.

    Thank you,

  • I tried that hopeing it would activate automatically. since Toshiba does not send the product key of the pc with it. But it asked for the key and I have none to enter so it seems that I am screwed.

Speak to someone else – preferably someone who actually knows what they are talking about.
By the terms of their contract with MS, ALL manufacturer's are REQUIRED to affix a COA sticker to any machine that is shipped with Windows installed. If Toshiba still claim that your machine didn’t have a COA sticker attached, then it’s because it was shipped without Windows.
