    Hi,

    I have a solution which has some dependent plugin steps of other solution. Now if the version of the base solution is updated or plugin assembly version is updated i am forced to create a new solution that depends on this base solution.

    Is it possible to create a solution that is independent of the solution or plugin version numbers?

    An unsupported way is to modify the solution.xml and customization.xml files to contain the required version numbers. But i wanted a solution that is a supported way.
