Dynamic CRM 3.0 / sale order status from canceled to active

Question
-
Hi everyone,
I want to know if there is a way in Microsoft CRM to change the status of a "sale order" from canceled to active.
I tried creating a workflow, with the admin user, and entering the CRM (log as the admin user), trying to apply the rule to a canceled order, and is showing a message that an error occur.
I tried looking in the CRM for an option, because I thought it was a permission, an I still belive that I do not have to create a workflow for this, if a user, like the admin, has permission, should be able to un-canceled an order.
So, anyway, does anyone has a solution or workaround (that do not involve going directly to the database).
Regards,
Carlos G.

Hi,Its not a matter of rights. You can not activate a canceled order. Doing it through the DB is un supported.A possible work around is to put a "Clone" Button that copies the order and the products associated with the order. You could do it via a custom webservice.Hassan.

I totally agreed with you, about the database, that is why is incredible that you have to do a workaround coding, for example, making a web service.
Must applications have some kind of super-user, a supervisor (if you want to call it) and if something was cancel by mistake, could get it back.
I guess this is a limitation, but you are probably correct with you answer, because I have the CRM Book and I have been searching the internet, an I could not find anything on this.
Even i tried to create a workflow (a manual type) in CRM, so the user could apply that rule if canceled an other by mistake. But is giving me an error everytime I tried to apply the rule to a canceled order.
If someone else have a different opinion, please posted.

Hi Carlos,
You can change the status of an Order in CRM 4 so I recommend an upgrade if possible.
