Special characters after my data import RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    I have imported several thousands lines of accounts into my crm dynamics 2011 on-premise installation. After the successful import I noticed that some special characters that were correct in the files, such as "é", were transformed into some strange characters in the database. This then causes that other related records, such as contacts, etc, cannot be imported because CRM cannot match the value in my files with what is in the database. Can anyone advise on what went wrong and how can it be solved ? I guess it must be some sort of codepage in the database but am not sure.
