    hi,

    Do i need to configure Claim based authentication and Internet facing Deployment for Connecting Outlook client from laptop. (laptop is not in the domain). Please tell me

    Hi Sami,

    IFD itself is a mode of authentication to CRM out of the specified types of authentication.

    1. Outlook Client

    2. On-Premise

    3. IFD/partner-hosted.

    If laptop is not in the domain  2 options prevail

    1. connect to the domain  and then logon to CRM via On-premise(web) or outlook client.

    2. Or IFD (web).

    hi ,

    Thanks for the details. So what you mean is that i will not be able to work with the CRM outlook plugin if am not in the Domain?. The problem is that i can't login to the domain (VPN is having some trouble). Will the outlook plugin works with IFD?
