S&T 2013 startup error message

  I have purchased and downloaded S&T from the MS site. After the download was completed, When I try to start the program, the following error message appears:

  Streets.exe - System Error

  (X) The program can't start because mfc100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

  I have repeatedly downloaded and reinstalled the program, but get the same error message.

  My OS is Win8 Home Professional 64-bit. The only S&T 2013 available is 32-bit. But I have run S&T 2006 and 2011 with no problems.

  Please advise regarding the proper fix.
