What does the recent Microsoft Xamerin acquistion mean for me? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was looking at using the Xamerin product to develop a mobile application I've got in mind but the cost is pretty steep for a small developer.  Is this something that is going to start being included in MSDN?

  • Hi,

There's a MSDN Subscriptions forum here that you could ask in:

I don't know if they'll have any information about this yet though.

  • Doesn't look to be included, just discounted.

  • This was before the Microsoft acquisition.... I'm curious if MS is going to wrap this into visual studio now instead of an add on?

You can contact them here but I'd be surprised if they tell you (or even know) anything not already public.
