Forum bug: Alert notification is not working

Hi,

I've been subscribed to many forum posts but I'm not getting email alerts for some of them. One such example is the post: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepoint2010programming/thread/9d3e20ef-a27a-44ab-8ee8-5be7eef5d0c3. I've subscribed to the alert but I'm not getting any email notifications. I'm not sure how many notifications I've missed already. Sometimes I get some notifications and one such post is: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepoint2010programming/thread/29cbca9f-ef5d-4446-8459-2efda9e0da5c/

To fix it by myself, I visited my settings page and clicked resend near 'You cannot receive email alerts until you verify the confirmation email recently sent to 'ranaictiu@hotmail.com'' under configure alerts. But I didn't get any confirmation mail. I tried to resend the mail by changing my email but no luck.

Help appreciated!

Mail alerts, activity feeds and points are all back on track now ( at least for me, they have started working as earlier )
