Yes, the forum software leaves much to be desired. They make improvements on a regular basis, but there are some things that still make me crazy.
I edited your posts due to whatever strangeness the forum did with your copy/paste and then the quote.
I cannot speak for the reasons for the exclusions, other than to acknowledge that they exist and that others have expressed the same concerns and desire to have these exclusions eliminated.

Here's in English again:WHY? WHY? WHY? Why TF *YOU* are telling me that I cannot sync, say, my Desktop?andThis is the BIGGEST IDIOCY OF ALL: restricting extension (like if it would matter at all)......once again, something good idea starts inside Microsoft and then some retarded Product Manager turns into this restriction fest - because THEY CAN.Obviously it must be the reason because there's no other sane explanation for, say, blocking .sav extensions or say, network locations..."Microsoft - no matter how big we grow, idiocy prevails!"

This is the BIGGEST IDIOCY OF ALL: restricting extension (like if it would matter at all)...
The extentions usually refer to files that are bound tot local system settings. If you would sync them with another system they could screw up that other system. Simple as that.
Additionally, for some files it doesn't make sense to sync them, like Outlook .pst-files, because they are sync'ed through their own app.
HTH
