  • I did a little investigation and I'm told that the cause is a problem with your ID (anyone encountering this) on the LiveID server where data assigned to your ID doesn't match in all places, hence a permission problem. The client needs to be uninstalled on the affected computers and then reinstalled. You will then need to reconfigure your sync relationships when the Mesh folders appear on your desktop. If you have a different end point for sync, use browse to navigate to that existing folder and accept the warning about conflicts. While there will be some activity, all files will generally not need to be re-synchronized.

  • Do you mean that you are getting this error when the client software is signing in on each PC? How many computers and what operating systems?

The error can indicate a problem with the LiveID or a problem on the back end server.
