  • hi,

i am sure my computer has a virus as all of a sudden it runs very slowly, programs, including internet explorer closes unexpectedly and it seems my hard disk is working overtime. i have run a couple of scans, eg. with windows defender and norton internet security however nothing has come up, it has told me that 'all systems are running normally', which i know is not true. when using the internet it takes absolutely ages for any page at all to load and i have deleted cookies and internet history and the like to see if it helped, but to no avail.

please tell me how to scan and find the virus and then remove it because at the moment my computer is virually useless! :-(

    thanks! :-)

If you have a virus this will detect it delete it and send a report to Eset. Only 32mb too. Dont knock it till you have tried it.

I deleted your other post to the other thread - advertising for another product not really appropriate for the forum.

As to the original post, since you are not using Windows Live OneCare, you are off topic for this forum. This is not a general forum for viruses, spyware, or Windows Help. For help with spyware issues, you may want to try the forums here:
