Registry to get the location of LCSCMD.EXE RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi folks,

Is there a registry entry that tells us the location of LCSCMD.EXE ? I know

              that the standard location is:

                   C:\Program Files\Common Files\Office Communications Server 2007

But, if some other location was specified during install, how can I find ?

  • I am not entirelly sure what you are asking but you can set it in your Environment Variables of your System Properties, Under System Variables, configure the location you want under PATH.

  • Hi,

What I'm looking for it to run the command LCSCMD.EXE from within my

code. In order to do that, I need to get the location of LCSCMD.EXE. I'm guessing,

depending upon user preferences during the install, it could be installed anywhere.

So, I need someway to determine its location. I thought, there'd be some registry

key that points to its location on the File System. But, I couldn't find any.
