Registry to get the location of LCSCMD.EXE RRS feed

    Hi folks,

              Is there a registry entry that tells us the location of LCSCMD.EXE ? I know

              that the standard location is:

     

                   C:\Program Files\Common Files\Office Communications Server 2007

     

             But, if some other location was specified during install, how can I find ?

    I am not entirelly sure what you are asking but you can set it in your Environment Variables of your System Properties, Under System Variables, configure the location you want under PATH.

    Hi,

        What I'm looking for it to run the command LCSCMD.EXE from within my

        code. In order to do that, I need to get the location of LCSCMD.EXE. I'm guessing,

        depending upon user preferences during the install, it could be installed anywhere.

        So, I need someway to determine its location. I thought, there'd be some registry

        key that points to its location on the File System. But, I couldn't find any.

    I think you are right, I couldnt find anything either. Can you update this post on your current status?
