ms crm outlook client problem for remote user RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have installed and configured outlook client with most of our company users.

    we are using MS CRM 4.0.

    I have a problem with one user only who is a remote user.

    when we configure outlook client for him we get the following error the specified microsoft CRM server is not available.

    however he can run CRM from internet explorer

    He is connected to the company intranet through VPN but his machine is not joined to domain.

    He is using windows 7 with Office 2010

    Please help

    For configuration to succeed, the Outlook client must be able to connect to the server using AD authentication.

    Thank you for your answer.

    he is connected to the company intranet using his AD user name and password.

    and when i use outlook client configuration wizard it just give the error without asking about user name and password.

    My question is What is the solution for this problem?
