Reinstall XP Home Edition RRS feed

  • I had to do a restore and have lost my MS XP Home Edition.  How do I restore?  I have the product code from the back of the laptop since this was installed on the laptop by Gateway.

    Your issue appears to be outside the scope of the Genuine Advantage forum. In an attempt to assist I would like to provide some information which may help. Please contact Gateway Computers @ 800-369-1409 and explain you have lost the MS XP Home Edition restore media.  They should be able to assist with your request and/or questions. Recovery CD’s are specific to your computer manufacturer as well as the model number. Since the telephone number and web sites are not maintained by Microsoft we cannot make any warranty as to their validity.
