Activated Office XP Professional w/Publisher 2002 Failed Validation Because Not Activated

Question
-
Both disc and COA comparison show without doubt that my Office XP Professional with Publisher 2002, purchased from a system builder in mid-2003, to be genuine. However, it fails to validate online, purportedly because it isn't activated. However, it is activated, has been since mid-2003, and I can find no way to re-activate it.
I have already lost nearly 3 hours of my life to this and I am NOT happy. I did everything right. If microsoft is going pursue this laudable goal, it better ensure innocent customers are not punished.
My diagnostic report follows.

Thanks Dan. It worked beautifully, although including a link to the validation page would have been a great help as well. MikeTuesday, October 6, 2009 11:29 PM
