Use a downloaded copy at your own risk.  Microsoft research has shown that about half of the copies of Microsoft software available on P2P download sites are infected with rootkits, spyware, trojans, and who knows what else.

Your best course of action is to contact Toshiba to see if they can sell you a copy of the recovery CD for your model of computer.  Or you can search internet auction sites for those selling the exact Recovery CD from Toshiba for your computer (do not get clipped by buying a generic so-called recovery CD for $10), or search www.restoredisks.com.

You can also use a genuine Microsoft systembuilder/OEM CD that matches the edition of XP on the Toshiba CoA.  Use the Product Key on the Toshiba CoA to install, then do a telephonic activation.
