Backup Failed with "Protocol Violation" Message

My first scheduled nightly backup failed with the message "Protocol Violation (invalid) AwaitingEndBackupRequest"

That message doesn't really add anything useful for me. Has anyone else seen this message or something like it?

hello

i recieved an email last night with referance to my bug report (see below) its now marked as resolved (fixed) I'am not sure how this works, but will i now have to wait untill the next beta to find out if this bug has been fixed.

hi bradt i have exactly the same error code as that here is my bug report

and my thread about it. i have tried quite a few things reinstalling the client software and the server soft ware, fitted a switch instead of going through a router and still the same error
